From Norfolk, Chesapeake or Virginia Beach, VA

• Take I-264 West or I-464 North to the Downtown Tunnel to Portsmouth.
• Follow the very first exit out of the tunnel to "Downtown".
• Turn left at the first stop light (Court Street).
• Turn left at the third stop light (High Street).
• The Commodore Theatre is on your left.

From Hampton, Newport News or Williamsburg

• Take I-664 across the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel until you reach the I-64/I-264 split.
• Take I-264 East to downtown Portsmouth.
• Take Exit 7B, the last exit before the Downtown Tunnel, and follow the 'Downtown Portsmouth' sign
• Turn left at the first stop light (Court Street).
• Turn left at the fourth stop light (High Street).
• The Commodore theatre is on your left.
